New Service 902 (with effect from 17 April 2006) In conjunction with the opening of Republic Polytechnic, SMRT will introduce Service 902 to serve the students and staff with effect from 17 April 2006 (Monday). The uni-directional point-to-point service will ply between Woodlands Regional Interchange and the bus stop outside Republic Polytechnic along Woodlands Avenue 9, providing a fast and direct connection to the campus. The operating hours of this service is between 7.30am to 8.30am on weekdays at 10 minutes interval. Beside Service 902, the campus is also accessible by Service 169, 911 and 903.

Changes to Service 921(with effect from 16 April 2006) The Petir Road extension will be completed soon. For service safety reasons, Bus-Plus buses will be used for Service 921 with effect from 16 April 2006 (Sunday). Please refer to the photo below. The seats of these buses will be more comfortable and its frequency will also be improved. Other operating details remain unchanged.

Thaipusam Festival 2006 In conjunction with Thaipusam Festival 2006, services 67, 857 and NR 6 will skip two bus stops along Serangoon Rd outside Broadway Hotel and Farrer Park MRT Station from 1800hrs on 10 February 2006 to 0200hrs on 12 February 2006. In addition, service 857 and NR 6 will skip the bus stop opposite NTUC Income Prinsep House along Prinsep Street during the said period. Please click here for details.
Singapore River Hongbao’s celebration
In conjunction with Singapore River Hongbao’s celebration, Connaught Drive would be closed to all vehicular traffic on Sunday, 12 February 2006 from 1600hrs to 2230hrs. As such, services 75 and 167 will be temporary diverted during this period. Please click here for details.
Express Bus Service 963E
From 20 February 2006, SMRT will be launching Express Bus Service 963E to provide commuters with a faster link to HarbourFront. Service 963E will operate during morning peak hours on weekdays in a single direction from Woodlands Regional Interchange to HarbourFront Interchange.
